Like any family, we have our own special traditions we celebrate together during the holidays.

We really are like a big family...

Ever since the first strains of Christmas carols began playing over the radio, the staff at Schlueter Hyundai has been getting into the holiday spirit.  Our amazing employees (many who have been here since we opened our doors over 12 years ago) see this place as their second family and like a family we have our own traditions during the holiday season.

One of the first things we do is put up and decorate our Christmas tree.  We even have a very special Christmas angel sitting on top of the tree, his name is George.

Perhaps our most popular tradition of the year is the staff potluck lunch.  Everyone makes something delicious and we all sit down and share a meal together.  We began this tradition back when we had a staff of barely 20, now with over 50 employees the lunch room is more crowded but that just means more yummy dishes to choose from.

This year we added a new tradition, one that gave us all the opportunity to give back to our amazing community.  To honour the true spirit of the season we decided to hold a dealership food drive in support of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.  Staff and customers participated in our food drive and at the end of the day we had enough food donations to build this giant Hyundai logo.   We also raised over $2000 in cash donations!  Check out this time-lapse video of our creation!

While we are all looking forward to some extra family time over the holidays, the traditions we celebrate together at the dealership remind us how lucky we are to spend our working hours with such a great group of people.

Finally, we would like extend a very special thank you to all our amazing customers.  You first and foremost make it possible for all of us to come to work here every day.  We appreciate your support all year long and wish you a safe and happy holiday season.
