Latest J.D. Power Study honours Hyundai

The 2018 Hyundai Tucson received the distinct honour of Most Dependable Small SUV by J.D Power in their 2018 Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS).

The VDS examines problems experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of 2015 model-year vehicles and covers 177 specific problems grouped into eight major vehicle categories. After 3 years of ownership Tucson owners reported the lowest number of problems, reflecting Hyundai's high quality.

Tucson was also awarded 2018 IIHS Top Safety Pick this year.

Alongside dependability, safety is another core tenant of the 2018 Tucson.  Built on Hyundai’s Superstructure, an ultra-rigid vehicle frame that protects occupants, Tucson also features an array of advanced safety technologies.  Tucson was named an IIHS Top Safety Pick when equipped with autonomous emergency braking and LED headlights.

“In one of the most competitive segments in the industry, Tucson places highest in its class.”
